YOGA

AGE 7 AND UP

Taught by Allison Johnston

Allison has been teaching yoga since 2011 with a special focus on how the practice can help athletes and performance artists. With a background in child development—especially with disabled and neurodiverse populations—she has a passion and skill set for teaching creatively and meeting students where they are. This work has brought Allison to consult with organizations in NYC and LA that combine yoga philosophy with social justice and continues to work today as a social impact strategist. After almost a decade of living in Brooklyn where she taught in Prospect Park and was the Director of Skating and Student Development for Figure Skating in Harlem, Allison is beyond happy to be back home in Maine making films, supporting local theatre, and growing vegetables.
